Vaginal Birth

Vaginal Birth

If the antenatal period is smooth and the baby is in the head-down position, it will be a sensible decision to try for a vaginal birth. The mother recovers faster from a vaginal birth than from a Caesarean delivery. The mother can be discharged from the hospital 2-3 days after an uncomplicated vaginal birth, and should be able to performed regular daily tasks within a couple of days.
