Excision of Skin/Subcutaneous Lesions

Excision of Skin / Subcutaneous Lesions

Various conditions can lead to small lumps on the skin or just below it, at the subcutaneous layer. The most common of these are sebaceous cysts, lipoma, skin naevus and skin warts etc. These are relatively superficial and small-sized lesions. Surgery to remove them can therefore be done under local anaesthesia in the clinic, without the need for sedation or monitored anaesthetic care (MAC).
